The mission for the PRSA NY Career Forum is to attract top diverse talent to the PR profession, helping to develop students and young professionals from diverse backgrounds for a career in public relations. The event is open to all students. Special emphasis will be on attracting minority candidates.

FOR STUDENTS

Are you a student studying communications, public relations, marketing or journalism? Are you interested in analytics, digital/new media, research or business? If you answered yes, you won’t want to miss the premiere event for students and new professionals.

At the Career Forum, you will have an opportunity to meet with recruiters from top New York City-based public relations agencies and communications companies and learn about continuing education programs.

FOR EXHIBITORS

As an exhibitor, we ask that if you agree to participate in the Career Forum, you come prepared to do one of three things:

1.)    Offer a summer internship

2.)    Offer an entry-level position

3.)    Offer support (either financial or in-kind) to an area university (For example, speaking at a local area college about a career in PR)

During the Career Forum you can meet and recruit 2013 local area college students and new professionals from a diverse variety of disciplines applying for PR and corporate communications positions.

For more information, please download the registration form if you would like to attend as a student or new professional or if you'd like to participate as an exhibitor.

We hope to see you at the 2013 PRSA NY Career Forum!
